View Your Teams and Divisions

The Coach tab in Rostered gives you a dashboard view of all the teams and divisions you're assigned to coach. Here's how to navigate your coaching responsibilities.

Accessing the Coach Dashboard​

  1. Open the Rostered app on your phone
  2. Tap the Coach tab at the bottom of the screen
  3. You'll see a welcome message with your name and profile photo

Viewing Your Teams​

Your assigned teams appear in the Your Teams section of the dashboard.

  1. Scroll down to the Your Teams section
  2. Each team card shows:
    • Team name - The name of the team
    • Division - Which division the team belongs to
    • Roster count - How many athletes are on the team
  3. Tap any team to view its details, including roster, schedule, and messaging options

Viewing Your Divisions​

If you're a division-level coach, you'll see a Your Divisions section above the teams list.

  1. Look for the Your Divisions section near the top of the dashboard
  2. Each division card displays:
    • Division name
    • Teams count - How many teams are in the division
    • Athletes count - Total athletes across all teams
  3. Tap a division to access division-wide features like messaging all guardians at once

Upcoming Events​

The Coach dashboard also shows your upcoming schedule:

Next Practice​

If you have a practice coming up, it will appear at the top of the dashboard with:

  • Practice title
  • Date and time
  • Location

Tap the practice card to view details and get directions.

Upcoming Tournaments​

Tournament cards show:

  • Tournament name
  • Date range
  • Location
  • Number of games scheduled

Tap a tournament to view the full schedule and game details.

Empty State​

If you don't see any teams or divisions listed, it means you haven't been assigned to coach any teams yet. Contact your club administrator to get assigned to your teams.

Refreshing Your Dashboard​

To update the dashboard with the latest information:

  1. Pull down from the top of the screen
  2. Release to refresh
  3. Wait for the data to reload

This is useful if your club admin has just assigned you to new teams or updated your coaching assignments.
